Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
Blythe is a space for rest and repair, and your privacy is part of that. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Blythe (the "App") and blytheapp.com (the "Site") are operated by Rachael Twist ("Blythe," "we," "us"). By using the App or Site, you agree to this policy.
The short version: we collect only what we need to run the program. We never sell your data, we don't show ads, and your voice recordings are private to you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Email signups: your email address if you join our mailing list on the Site.
- Your recordings: affirmations you record in the App.
- Your responses: answers to in-app quizzes and check-ins, such as how calm you feel.
- Messages: anything you send us when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Progress and preferences: which practices you complete, where you are in the program, and the reminder times you choose.
- Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and a notification token so we can send the reminders you set.
- Usage and analytics: how the App and Site are used, such as pages visited, features opened, and crashes. We use this to understand what's helpful and fix what isn't. It is not used to identify you personally.
Purchases
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment, and we never see or store your card details. We receive your subscription status, such as which plan you have and when it renews, so we can unlock the right content.
Health and wellness information
Blythe offers wellness practices like breathwork, movement, meditation, and belief work. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Some of your quiz and check-in answers may relate to how you feel. We use them only to personalize your experience in the App. We never sell this information or use it for advertising.
Blythe does not currently access Apple Health. If we add that feature, we will ask your permission first. Health data will only be used to show you your own results, and it will never be used for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Your voice recordings
- Your recordings are private to your account. Other users can't hear them.
- We don't use your recordings to train artificial intelligence or for any purpose other than playing them back to you.
- You can delete any recording at any time in the App, and deleting your account deletes all of them.
How we use your information
- To provide the program, save your progress, and play your recordings
- To manage your subscription and give you access to the right content
- To send the practice reminders you choose
- To send emails you've signed up for, including program updates and news
- To respond to your questions and support requests
- To fix problems and improve the App
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run Blythe, and only as much as each one needs:
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Apple | Processes App Store purchases and subscriptions |
| RevenueCat | Tracks subscription status so the App knows your plan |
| Lovable Cloud | Hosts our app, database, account logins, and audio files |
| Vimeo | Hosts and plays program videos |
| OneSignal | Delivers the practice reminders you set |
| Kit | Sends emails to people on our mailing list |
| Analytics providers | Help us understand how the App and Site are used so we can improve them |
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. If that ever changes, the App will ask your permission first, and you can say no.
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or others.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information, including your recordings, within 30 days, except anything we're legally required to keep.
Your choices and rights
- Access or correct: email us to request a copy of your information or to fix something.
- Delete: delete your account in the App's settings, or email us and we'll do it for you.
- Emails: unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Notifications: turn reminders off in the App or in your phone's settings.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings.
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us to use any of them, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children
Blythe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
International users
Blythe is based in the United States. If you use it from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Blythe grows. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the App or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
